It was an afternoon in early January 2015. Krushal Malde, my Graphic Designer at that time, entered my cabin at Penwindow Communications to get my feedback on a design he had created. He took the Shutterstock image and created a Sankranti greeting from it, which was fabulous. At that time, we would typically share it with our prospects and friend circle via email and Whatsapp. He had created the design with 4 festivals since the image had four children, celebrating Sankranti. We were working on the concept of rising above our differences and yet celebrating this festival today. The creative concept was to call out the different names and yet show equality in all of us celebrating it together. After some deliberation and direction from me to add a girl and two more festivals encompassing the expanse and the importance of the day, the greeting took the present form.

To my surprise, the following year, I received the same greeting from another contact with our logo, and our CTA was removed from the said design. It has been 5 years since then, and I continue to receive this card from sources outside of my circle. And see it on pages outside of our circle, and then I know that we truly created something timeless and viral. To this day, I am immensely grateful to have worked with someone as talented and creative as Krushal.

Today, I use the same design for my contacts with some tweaks.
